Let’s talk skin // part. 1

Hi Sweets,moreish1Moreish skincare, is a brand that I hadn’t really heard about and then all of a sudden there was a small selection of products on the shelves and a few New Zealand beauty bloggers were sharing PR samples on their social media and I was instantly intrigued.  I love supporting New Zealand brands and also really like to use organic or natural sourced skincare so couldn’t wait to try the range out.I love skincare and I especially love paroosing skincare isles and I since had been looking for a new exfoliator, I immediately popped the Anew Exfoliator ($20.00) into my trolley and also picked up the Reawaken Eye Cream ($25.00) to try out.

“Moreish products are made from pure superfoods like organic Argan Oil and New Zealand Avocado, Grape Seed, Kiwifruit and Olive Oil – naturally sourced and intensely rich in vitamins and essential nutrients to hydrate, protect and restore your face and body” – http://moreishskincare.com/moreish2Anew exfoliator:   Anew has an almost whipped texture that is both creamy and smooth.  The exfoliant is too rough for daily use (directions suggest 2 times a week), but buffs dead skin cells really well and leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed.  The ingredients in the exfoliator are amazing, the argon oil and shea butter are super nourishing, the honey and aloe are natural anti-bacterials, full of antioxidants that replenish and soothe the skin and both fight signs of ageing.  It is also has palmitic acid which is a natural fatty acid, that will help clean out clogged pores and boost the skin’s healthy barrier function for a smoother surface *.  My skin feels fresh and clean after using the Anew exfoliator and it hasn’t left my skin feeling dry or tight which I really like, the only thing I don’t love is the scent as it’s a little too floral for my liking, but it doesn’t linger so I deal with it.moreish3Reawaken eye cream:  Reawaken, is an amazingly moisturising eye cream that has a light weight texture and sinks into the skin quickly and leaves the eye area feeling soothed and hydrated.  As with all of Moreish products Reawaken has argon oil, kiwi extract and rosehip oil, all of which are meant to nourish and replenish the skin and aid in anti-ageing and although I haven’t used it long enough to say its stopping my eye area from ageing, I certainly agree with the moisturising aspect of these oils.  The almond oil is super emollient and reconditions the skin*, while the cucumber and chamomile extracts will help to depuff the eyes*.  Perfect for night and day.

The packaging of their products is super practical and modern.  The opaque tubing ensures the creams aren’t exposed to air or potential contamination and sun damage, it also means you don’t have go stinking your fingers in pottles.  It’s super hygienic and means you’re not ruining all the good ingredients with germs.

Have you tired any of these products?  If so what would you recommend?  I recommended the eye cream, you don’t need much and it absorbs into the skin really quickly and doesn’t leave the eye area feeling all sticky.
